Laptop wont fully charge

Hi - DD has an acer aspire laptop. It only seems to charge to 59/60% no matter how long she leaves it on. Not sure how long this has been an issue - I have only been told !

    I had a similar problem, fitted new battery now OK. :beer:

    Replacement batteries for Aspires are in plentiful supply on Ebay and Amazon for example. Bear in mind that you get what you pay for and the cheapest option may not be the most economical. Read the customer reviews carefully.

    Once you have your replacement installed, look for a FREE piece of software called 'BatteryCare' and install it. Gives all kinds of helpful information about the battery and if used correctly can extend it's life.
