Mini DV to DVD help req'

I need advice on a software package that is easy to use. I want to transfer DV tapes from my camcorder to DVD's. A pal let me use his PC and he has Adobe Premier which I found difficult (my age!)
Is there an easy to use software. Nothing fancy required. Just want to put loads of video tapes of my grandson onto DVD and perhaps add a title or so.

Thanks for any suggestions.

You can use Nero Vision 4 from the Nero 7 Suite, downloadable from here; http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-demo.php

Hasn't Nero 7 had lots of bad reviews?

    Hi Norman

Have you tried Windows Movie Maker? That is supposed to be good for capture, basic editing and DVD burning.

Is this on my PC already? On Windows Media Player? ( I have XP)

I did a Google and found it. Is this Free?

Movie maker should already be on your PC, it is a separate app to Media Player.

I think it is in Start, programs, accessories
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

I didn't write, "buy it". I meant, "try it". ;)
