That's the beauty of comping you never know what or when you may win. 27 years ago I still remember that winning letter that gave hubby and I our 3 week honeymoon in Antigua and not paying for it makes it even more special. Unbelievable win, checked my emails yesterday at work and I was ruined for the rest of the day. Had a WEM from a PR company working for Shortlist. As per the below comp I have won a 5 night trip to Florida, with flights, transfers, and a Zero Gravity private flight (worth $5000!) and £1000 spends.
How unbelievable, only a few weeks ago I said to the missus that if I didn't get a big win in the next few weeks I would consider giving up (been comping since September 2012). Now I know that I never can.
Massive thanks to everyone that contributes to the forum and to Painkiller for posting the comp, I'm just in a complete state of shock, can't take it in, my missus on the other hand is bouncing off the ceiling.
I called the PR company today just to check it wasn't a wind up, and it wasn't lol.
Oh and we're getting married on the 8th of June so this couldn't have come at a better time as we haven't yet booked our honeymoon. Now we've got the trip of a lifetime.
So take a look, if you haven't had a big win for a while or even since you started comping, it will happen eventually, what we do is all worth it in the end!
