Redundancy from abroad

Myself and approx. 40 other colleagues were made redundant last Friday as it went into administration. Our administrators are based in Belgium but I have two questions that please could anybody out help me with. (Have tried the local citizens advice bureau but they were no help at all).

1/ I'm led to believe that government statutory redundancy can take up to seven weeks to be processed and if I find work within those seven weeks money will be deducted from my lieu of notice can anyone confirm please.

2/ As the administrators are based in Belgium will the statutory redundancy be paid from the Belgium government or U.K. government. All staff have paid U.K. tax and national insurance.

All positive replies would be gratefully received

Thanks
