Warning - Entropay virtual US credit card

I've been using Entropay for a few years without any problem, and only top it up about once a year. last week I tried to top of the card from my RBS credit card.
only 78p was debited.
then a few days later
£120
£240
£400
£800
£1300
£2400
£4000
Many phone call from various people wanting my credit card number to "confirm a transaction"
I give RBS credit, they blocked it after the 78p, and issued me a new card and number.
First time this has happened to me.

I'm less smug now.

can I ask how has the card been since, i have just got one to book flights on e dreams and only put the amount on the card that i needed for the flights, they have booked ok and my card is down to £5.00.

So I guess it went ok, i have heard of issues with them taking more money from accounts than was requested?

Anyone heard of this?
