sorry not quite suer where this should be.
I am going camoing soon and need to charge my camera battery and laptop battery while away, I could get the shop to charge them at a small cost but i am looking at buying a dcto ac power converter. It costs about £30 or so but just wondered if they are any good and how long it would actually take to recharge a battery?

Do you mean an inverter where you plug into cigarette lighter of the car
so you can then use the supplied power supplies for the camera and laptopMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -

If you can, look for a direct in-car-charger adaptor for each directly - much more efficient than an inverter, so less likely to leave you with a flat battery in the mornings!0
