They should still be telling the debt management company they don't accept the DMP rather than the debtor. They also shouldn't be saying "pay within a week or we'll take you to court and add charges" as that is pressuring someone into paying more than they can afford.

Correct.

I very much doubt whether the letter from Freds is a valid letter before claim under CPR either.
