I have 20 years accts experience and its not hard!

I am only just asking if it possible to call from the job centre. I know you can call from there if it's about the jobs.
If they can not pay or are now saying they do not want to pay then you want a call back ASAP

Work out how much these stamps and calls have cost you already take it away from the amount you are chasing and if you are in a - figure let it go as you are already out of pocket!We’ve had to remove your signature. When I received invitation and I asked if they could reimburse my travel expenses and they said yes they can and sent me the form. I submitted the form straight after my interview, sent it by 1st class stamp. Two weeks later, I contacted the person who invited me for the interview and she said that she has not received it and asked me to re-sent it. I resent it and waited for another two weeks. Then I contacted that person and got automatic reply that she has gone on maternity leave. I contacted HR dep and they said I have to contact the interviewing manager. I contacted him last Wednesday and he said that he sent it through to accounts dep and it should be with me by the beginning of this week. Still no cheque arrived and on Monday I sent another letter to the Manager. He replied yesterday saying "Hi, Apologies for this. I have sent an e mail to chase it. I was told it was sorted". He did not say anything else.
Could someone advise what to do next? I doubt it was sorted.

I e-mailed that person who is the manager, e-mailed on Tuesday but he is not replying... May be I should contact another person who was at the interview? I sent email to HR but had no reply from them either.0 -

Good news - Called main switchboard today and asked to be put through to the accounts dep, they put me through - went to answer machine, left them a message. Called HR and that women picked up the phone again and said that I have to speak to the Manager and I can put a complaint against him if I want. Called the manager - he wasn't there so I left the message on his answer machine. Few hour later - phoned main switchboard again and asked for the Accounts payable, they put me through to accounts payable. Woman said that they have no records of my invoice, she took my details and promised to go back to me. Few hours later - call back and it was that woman from Account dep. saying they traced my invoice, it was waiting authorisation. She apologised and said that the payment is on its way.0 -
