Buying car insurance through Quidco

Hi All,
On Quidoc it states:
'Cashback is not available on car insurance policies paid by annual Direct Debit.'
and:
Quidco will only pay cashback on policies to users who use BACS as their payment method.
Does this mean you can't pay it in one lump sum (obviously cheaper than monthly) and get the cashback too?
Thanks again for your help!

It means that quidco will only pay out the cash back via bacs. And to qualify for it you must buy the policy via instalments.0

Ah thanks - that makes so much more sense now, wan't associating the BACS to the Quidco payment!!0

Now I've confused myself again reading the following:
Cashback is not available on car insurance policies paid by annual Direct Debit.
Payments in whole or on monthly direct debit are eligible for cashback.
What is the difference between paid in whole and annual DD? :S0 -
Quite a lot - one means you get the Cashback, and the other doesn't!
Whether it means anything in real terms is debatable - but some may not notice, be hooked and to rebate is payable. Win-win for the Cashback firm.0 -
Pay by credit/debit card in full is surely different to paying by annual direct debi?0

Completely agree - it's how you go about making sure you pay in full and get the cashback rather than annual DD that you somehow need to make sure you do which I'm unsure of - probably have to try it and see!0 -
Annual direct debit means a single payment for the whole amount made by direct debit as opposed to Monthly direct debit which is basically paying by monthly instalments.
So basically they are saying that if you pay in one go - by ANY method, you won't get the cash back. You only get it if you pay by MONTHLY instalments...All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0 -
