I like to look for local event tickets on ebay, but I see ebay are doing away with the ability to buy or sell event tickets now, its says you can list for free on their sister site stubb hub, but they have a high fee structure when you sell, and you get the money about 10 days after the event. In a way it is good if it's going to seriously curb people buying tickets to sell and sit with your money for months and maybe dispose of touts.
Fee structure for example, if you sell two tickets for £100, you earn £88. The price the buyer pays is £115 so they also get charged to buy them and then your cut is £88 and they say that dont worry, Paypal wont take any more fees off you at this point.
Looks a bit confusing to me as that is my favourite category to browse on ebay often going along to local events picking up in person this de-personalises it.

i used to look through the ticket listings when i had some spare cash and pick up tickets for bands that i wouldnt normally listen too, even if it meant waiting for months to see them, i dont bother anymore as there never seems to be any tickets to be had. i dont think i will bother using stubb hub, just another way of ebay squeezing every last penny out of you.0

Thanks for the reply, with Stub Hub mob taking £27 from every £100 of sale, this is a nice ebay way to make money copying the formula of Getmein, and yip, just another way of raking in money, and like you, I enjoy watching tickets esp. local sellers who state "collect in person" , often you get tix on the day of the gig cos people take ill or have to work and I have found a lot of last minute auctions, but with this site, you don't bid, nor deal with a seller, no room to negotiate to meet, no offer to pick up outside the venue, now its all UPS postage and buy it now and fees added on! Rubbish.0

During the roll out they are asking me to sell a ticket and earn £10 at ebay! Just got the ebay email, in short it says
Because you're a valued eBay seller, if you sell a ticket on StubHub.co.uk between 3 May and 3 July, you'll receive a £10 eBay voucher to spend on eBay.co.uk! So you'll not only get to experience all the seller benefits that StubHub.co.uk offers, you'll also be able to treat yourself on eBay
great I can treat myself on ebay IF I sell a ticket!0
