A unique opportunity to take part in something that needs no training; just a deep breath and a little bit of courage.

• Event Name: Marie Curie Skinny Dip

• Location: Secret Beach in East Lothian (to be revealed on 'sign-up')

• Date: 2nd June 2013

• Estimated start time: 7AM (event aimed to finish for 10AM).

• Description: Bare all and help set a new world record this summer when you take part in Marie Curie's national skinny dip event. In 2011, more than 400 people plunged into the cold sea in South Wales, setting a new Guinness World Record for the world's biggest skinny dip and raising more than £40,000 for Marie Curie. We plan to make this year even bigger, with three new locations across the UK. The event will take place on a beautiful natural cove beach in East Lothian, with spectacular views out to Fidra Island, the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's famous tale 'Treasure Island.'

• The dip will be followed by hot drinks and a breakfast barbecue.

• Price: £15 Registration fee & £50 fundraising minimum.
