Moving the elec. meter
We need to move our elec. meter about six inches to the left. Can my electrician do this or will we need to ask Scottish Power to come and do it? I am unclear as to the "rules" and just want to check we are doing everything the right way. Thanks in advance for any help.

No he can't, only the meter owner can do it, which may or may not be SP. Contact your DNO, details as given on your bill.

Also do you just mean the meter or the meter & meter board? Contact your supplier for the former, DNO for the latter.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
