We have installed a BE_8304 cctv dvr. for home security. We can back up images but we do not know how to delete recordings. (memory full) Can anyone help us please.

Installer won't be able to come back to us for 2 weeks :( and we need to have the system recording for security reasons at our home.

There is no manual and we have live images but we cannot record anything.

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like a great installer you have. How come no manual for this.

Could try asking the company who made it, but given as they are in china, could take a while.

We won't go there about the installer :(

I emailed the company in China last week and have heard nothing back.
Thanks Neil Hopefully, someone might have one and be able to help.

So when you go into the menu system, is there no disk management or search option, where you can do a file search between dates, then some kind of delete button once you have searched.

Most dvr units give you an option to auto rewrite once the drive becomes full

If the principle is the same as this user manual:
    http://www.cn-dvr.com/manual/8304english.pdf
Then the auto overwrite is on or off... See if the menu system is simiar

The link would be the same. ;) Opens here without problems. Try to save it on your PC (right-click and "save link as...") and open it from there.
