Playstation 3 - difficult in updating software

My internet is through Virgin. Just had my old modem replaced by a superhub. Since then I have had problems with Playstaion 3 refusing to install updates etc. I have no problem playing online.
Can I be anything to do witrh the settings on the superhub?

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

Hi,
it does appear there have been widespread problems relating to Virgin superhub and PS3, I googled "superhub problems ps3 updates", suggest you trawl thru that lot if no-one can give better information here...Friendly greeting!0 -
