firewalls and vista

billycasper_2

Hello world,
I have a pc running vista and wanted to run a different firewall to vista's own. The problem is that my choices are limited.
I have tried jetico v2 but this froze and crashed my pc while i tried to access the internet. i uninstalled it
I then tried pc tools firewall which didn't crash the pc but refused to let me access the internet.
The help files are useless.
So does anyone have a 3rd party firewall working on vista or a solution to my connection problems ?

Why not just use the Vista Firewall? Its good enough.

it's much better than the xp one, hang around until a good free one turns up

Cheers guys, i know the vista one is supposed to be ok but i dont think its going to be as good as comodo or zone labs etc etc.. but unfortunatley vista versions of these programs dont yet exist... i will hang on to until
1, they get there acts together.. or
2, i get hacked and go back to xp
