Completion in sight - what all should I be planning for?

We are likely to exchange in the next 2-3 weeks and complete a week later....I want plan early and be prepared - to avoid stress. I know I can still have nasty surprises, things going wrong, unexpected delays etc. We are looking at completing in 5 weeks from now. So I've started making a list of things I need to be on top of :

1. do I need to arrange for insurance for the period between exchange and completion?

2. Home insurance quotes

3. Removals (for later - as I will be moving only after the work is complete)

4. Take meter readings on completion date (???)

5. Inform gas and elec, council, thameswater after completion

6. Arrange for phone/internet to be moved

7. Change addresses on bank accounts, work, school and GPs

Did I miss anything ?

I was told to have buldings and contents insurance in place for contract exchange, so I would attend to that immediately.
