Enter our competition and you could win a two-night trip to Prague for two people, including a tour of the Plzen brewery hosted by one of Pilsner Urquell's master brewers.
As soon as Josef Groll created the world's first golden beer, news spread like wildfire. In no time at all, pretenders to the crown were serving up their own versions of this reputed "Plzen" style beer. But pretenders were all they were - no one could match the unique style of Josef Groll's original. Fifty years after it was first presented to an admiring public, his beer was renamed Pilsner Urquell (meaning "from the original source, Plzen") to distinguish it from its pale imitators.
Enter our competition and you could win a trip to the beautiful city of Prague and the chance to travel back in time to where the story first began with a visit to the Plzen Brewery. the prize includes two nights bed and breakfast accommodation in a 4-star hotel, £250 spending money, plus your very own guided tour of the Plzen brewery.
Complete the fields below for your chance to win.
