Cg125's have had hydraulic disks fitted for a long time and they were uprated to 240mm in 04

Best bet is to read through this

If in doubt, get it done by a professional who knows what they are doing. What part of the country you in?

    If its a genuine Honda?

There are a wide range of different options/specifications on the myriad CG clones that have appeared since the original Honda line/tooling was sold to China. IIRC the later Honda GCs came-off the Brazillian line?

I have searched everywhere on how to slacken the brake cable but found nothing.

Looks like I got the wrong end of the stick. From what the OP said above I assumed it was a cable brake.

If it's a hydraulic system and the brake is sticking on, this can only be one of three things:
    • Sticking piston/s in caliper (most likely)
    • Fault in master cylinder where fluid is not bleeding back as it should (less likely)
    • Brake hose degraded and breaking up internally, acting like a one-way valve (unlikely, but I read of this on another forum only this week).
It really needs a professional mechanic or an experienced DIYer to sort this out. Brakes are too important to leave to chance.
If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.
