That's sweet of you to give them away.. I've not won one yet but thanks to your helpful info I might have a chance! :j
We hope to have a dog in a couple of months so am trying to win doggie treats so she has some toys and shiny bowls :-) I defo agree about the separate food/water bowl thing, some people seem to have an issue with people winning more than one bowl, but everyone is entitled to do as they please as far as i'm concerned. It sounded like you might have a whole lot of doggies running around.. Now I just need to stay up a few more hours.... lol :D

It's a funny old game this comping, I tried and tried and tried to win on the John Frieda competition, folks were winning left, right and centre and some several times all except for me :(

Obviously Jess needs a new bowl more than I need a new hair brush :rotfl:

Nope, if I say I've won nothing it's cos I've won nothing!! For example in March all I won was a book but I listed that in my signature and in my March wins.

This is an interesting and new take on the theme :)

I have won vouchers many times and definitely count them as a proper win, whether it's for a chocolate bar or £50. I've also now won three Dalpak (sp?) fridge magnets, and though they are a rubbish and completely useless prize, I did still think of them as wins.

Freebies sometimes feel like wins, mainly because I often go for perfume samples. I apply for many more than I receive, as they usually run out of stock. So when I do get one, it feels like a win.

With discounts though, I don't think I have ever felt these to be a true win - even though once or twice I've made use of them. To me, this is a marketing ploy. They ran a legit comp, with one winner, or perhaps a few. Everyone else gets a discount to entice them to buy, which was what they ran the comp for in the first place. I have no problem with this at all, but to me, it is marketing, not a win.

Anything that's an actual item, or a proper money off voucher, I count as a win - 20% off something I'm never going to buy most certainly isn't! :D

No wins at all last moth and a rugby ball in March and
Still Waiting For Decembers BIG PRIZE that should have been with by middle of Jan.

its a load of Motorhead signed stuff and I reckon they are still stalking the band that’s why I dont have it yet.:rotfl:

Btw the rugby ball will end up as a Bday pressie for a rugby mad ball collecting lad that I know, so that’s ok:)

    Zero wins 2016 😥

Nah discounts aren't a win. Especially if (as is the case with my ferry link) you get a discount just for entering. And also, it's not something I'd ever spend money on anyway. So not only is it something I'd have to spend to take advantage of.....it's not something I'd normally purchase.

Definitely not a win. I won one thing in April!

As regards vouchers, coupons etc. I don't regard it as a win if it's a percentage off or a certain amount off, whether or not it's something I'd buy anyway. £1 off a pizza still means spending £1 on it so it's no different to if it was on offer at the supermarket etc. If it's a coupon to cover the full price of something (eg. I've had a few for stuff like those Malteser bunnies, Creme eggs etc) then you are in effect winning the item as you're getting it for nothing!!

I certainly don't like those competitions where the company emails "runners up" and offer them a "prize" of 20% off their site, that's not a win in my book!!

I don't count discounts as 'wins' either. Mainly because you have to spend to get the discount and the discount is usually on something I normally wouldn't purchase.

I think I went 9 months last year with no wins at all.
