A lot of of won £10 of pizza vouchers, I think of that as a win

There is a competition at the minute (sorry can't think which one off the top of my head) where you click the wine glasses and everyone who plays gets 20% off wine and 20% off ferry crossings is that not a win? It is something you would not have if you did not do competitions even if you never use them??

Lots of us won Relentless and an MP3 download which we have not received yet but that was a win for this month.

I won Golden Dog Bowls but have not received them yet either, is a win only something you have actually received?

Even a fridge magnet/voucher/packet of sweets is a win is it not?

It looks like all who commented on The Gift Experience competition on Monday will get a prize, I am sure it will be something small but it is still a win!

I would view small items such as a magnet/ sweets etc as being a win. If it is from entering a comp then it is still a win even if it's only something small. I wouldn't class 20% off or anything that involves spending any money as a real win though.

I usually list a win even if I haven't received it yet.

I'd happily accept anything. Not a dickie bird this year, let alone this month - and I mean not a thing, no vouchers, magnets, nothing.

The reason I ask is I have won 5 of the Bakers Golden bowls and I would be more than happy to send you one for your dog, as I said earlier I have not received them yet, but when they come one has your name on it if you would like it

I won the relentless and the pizza coupons, I count both as wins and very welcome ones too! but money off I probably wouldn't class as a win unless it was for 75% off something lol. Can I just say though what a truly lovely gesture that was with regards to the dog bowl. Really made my day reading that! x

I consider a "win" must require no spend to get it or it is just a discount and not a win (99.99% off is still just a discount and not a win).

I understand what you are saying but if you entered a competition and won vouchers are they not still a "win"?

The vouchers a few of us got last week were for a half price pizza, 2 for 1 pizzas, £1.00 of a pizza ect, but we entered a competition to win those, so they must still be a win?

If I have to spend money to get it I don't count it as a win (a bargain maybe like picking up something really cheap in a sale but not a win).
Vouchers which are not conditional spend (eg £20 off when you spend £45) or just a percentage off but do actually cover the total cost I count as wins.

While not counting anything that costs me money (discounts etc), I do lump the occasional freebie in with competitions.

As I mentioned a while ago I comp at stupid o'clock usually from about now to about 4am :eek: The Bakers competition is a time related thing and I won all of them at stupid o'clock and because it is on the daily comps I just kept entering :rotfl: I have stopped now because 5 is the maximum you can win and I am worried if I win again it will ban me from the comp. :eek:

We only have one old lady Border Collie called Jess, I wanted to try and win 2 one for her water and one for her food (is that greedy of me) but as I said I kept going till I had five!!

I told my husband last week I was going to give three of them away on this forum to doggie owners who had not won one, but I did not want to do that until I actually had them in my hand as I did not want to offer any false hopes.

The reason I asked elsien if she would like one was because although she has won nothing at all this year she is not grumpy about it, infact she was very light hearted about her streak of bad luck, the glass is half full kind of person.

Think positive and it will happen, moaning gets you nothing
