Long stay car parks in Windsor on a Saturday?

Picking brains again ...
We're planning a day trip to Windsor on Saturday, meeting up with our sons and the in-laws who are coming from different directions, and the boys need to catch trains back home so I've been exploring the options for a sensible meeting point for two cars, combined with cost-effective parking. I know the boys can catch a train from Windsor Central back to Slough, but being able to give them a lift to Slough might help too.
The general Windsor tourism site suggests parking at Legoland, which I think will cost £3 per car plus £6 for up to 5 people on the bus, so anything that's less than £9 per car for a day (11am to 7 pm?) will work for us.
but note that we won't be there before about 11 am, so it does also need to be a car park which isn't always full by then ...
I found this suggestion here, any others? Is this a good one?

We parked in the Alexander (or Alexandra?) carpark for the day and think it cost £5 or £6 - worked out about a £1 an hour approx. The car park is by the railway bridge arches and next to the main coach/bus station.

Thank you, that's very helpful, would anyone like to hazard a guess as to whether there would still be spaced in Alexandra Gardens at 11 am on a bank holiday Saturday?Signature removed for peace of mind0

For future reference, yes, there was space both in Alexandra Gardens and Alma Road car park (which has an overflow on Saturdays), the former slightly cheaper for long stay. And as we did a drop off at Slough Rail Station I noticed a car park there which was similar prices, so that's one possibility for people wanting to visit Windsor ... which would avoid the slow moving traffic we encountered after leaving the M4.Signature removed for peace of mind0
