HSBC Harvey Nichols Store Card

I should be grateful for some advice please.

I sent off a PPI questionnaire to HSBC as I believe I was mis sold PPI.

I recieved a letter today from HFC Bank stating "that my type of account and number quoted to not relate to any HFC or HSBC Bank product".

I have two questions.

1. Are HFC and HSBC under the same company.
2. Is it worth sending my statement to them to show that I do have an account.

Thanks in advance

Your PPI complaint is not with the Bank, but with Harvey Nichols the store who sold you the PPI in the first place. You can only complain of mis-selling to the seller.
