Help choosing new home cinema system

HI,
As our panasonic cinema surround unit has died we are looking for a new one have been considering the sony STR-DG700 or the new sony STR-DG710 as we have a dvd recorder so dont really need another dvd player.
We have got sky but not yet got a HD TV maybe will next year and want a PS3 maybe next year. So would these be suitable for what we need.
Also saw the yamaha RX-V459 in black.
Also what would be the best speakers for this system at under £100 though?
