EDF Energy Overcharging!!!!!

Looking for a bit of advice if anyone can help....
I moved both by gas and electric supply to EDF Energy last October. I have prepayment meters in my house and was advised by EDF to top each meter up three times by £1 a day to allow their settings to download. I did all this in October and carried on as normal.
I then received a letter in mid April that advised they had noticed I wasn’t paying enough standing charge on my electric meter and that new settings would be downloaded in the next few weeks to correct this. After reading the letter and checking the meter I noticed that i was indeed paying less standing charge than the letter said I should be, but that also I was paying a lot more per unit (kwh) than the letter said I should be.
I called the number on the letter, first four times my call was met by an automated response and I was put on hold for over 15 minutes each time before hanging up. On the fifth attempt I just bit the bullet and waited, 18 minutes later my call was eventually answered. The lady from EDF went through my account and admitted that their settings hadn’t downloaded and I’d been getting over charged ever since I joined them 6 months before.
To cut the story short, the following day the lady rang back and advised that she had calculated that I’d been overcharged by over £130 and would raise a cheque for this amount immediately. She also said that I’d have to be available to let an engineer visit my property so the settings could be downloaded manually.
I raised the issue of compensation and after several more calls I was offered £60, I said I didn’t think this was adequate given that I’d spent the best part of two days on calls trying to sort this and i was now going to have to take time off work so the engineer could attend.
I know energy companies have a habit of overcharging customers and unfortunately this isn’t anything new, but can advise what a suitable figure of compensation would be?
Thanks
