Just reading up on it, it can be rooted and turned into a simple android tablet with a browser, would be useless for video and games but pointed at a news website would make an interesting electronic newspaper with a very long battery life. Or it can read pdf's so could be used as an electronic service manual for engineers. Desk clock and calendar maybe.

Tempted just to play with one... although I would be killed if I bought any more technology!

Dificult to source some are saying supplies due as its a Nook clearance rather than store clearance .
Sourced one at Argos and for £29 its worth a play to see what i can turn it into outside of an e-reader .

Reputed to work on rooted models.

I've ordered one from PCWorld and i "think" I've got 2 or 3 reserved at Argos! their site is terrible when it comes to reservations! not 100% sure I've actually reserved ANY at all!

Missed out on Asda Direct, they has some last night but I had a bit to drink and I never let my self near a debit card while under the influance ^_~ lol
