help with burning audio from youtube

Hi

im trying to burn some audio from youtube. normally i would download via real player and burn via real player but since my cd player/writer has stopped working on my laptop ive bought an external one which arrived today...i can play cds/dvds so it works fine but when it comes to recording/burning, how do i get real player to recognise the new drive :G? real player keeps trying to use the built in player/drive on the laptop. ive tried looking every where but cant see how to change it so it burns on the new external recorder.

i have windows 7, is there any other easy way to do this? if i click on the G drive it says drag files here to add to cd but i cant copy or drag files from real player to the G drive either.

whats the best way forward?

is it possible to trasnfer files from the real player library to my c drive that way i can move them to g drive and burn them on the external dvd re writer?

Have you tried using 'free youtube downloader' ripping the sound of the video then burning it?

I use Freestar Youtube MP3 Converter.Easy to use and it works for me.Transfers file to your choice of directory then you can burn it.

I use Youtube downloader to get the .flv, then Xmedia Recode to convert it, quick and easy, dunno if theres much loss in qualit it sounds ok to me.
