In Need Of Urgent Help

We have been reading all the great tips on this website for a long time and wondering if someone can advise/ help us
We are curretly holidaying in Moroco and I have just realised that I have lost my car keys . I had only one car key and am wondering if it is possible to get a new car key ready by the time we come back to UK . :: Car details removed for safety - FM ::
Moreover we left the house keys in the car
Can anyone advise me of the best course of action . I do not have the registration documents with me but they are in the car

Are you in the AA or RAC?

I would give them a call.

Ermmmm not sure it's a good idea to advertise on a public forum your make of car and where it's parked, not to mention that the registration documents and your house keys are in it!!!!!

Or is this a wind-up????

    We just mentioned about the car make so that someone might help us specifically . Anyways it is a big airport with many parking areas and hence difficult to trace a car without reg No ;
    Kindly advise on action needed

I doubt there will be that many cars of that spec sitting in the car parks and being such a high value car there's bound to be some that would be tempted to go search it out!

You've just given them everything they need to steal your car, including it's documents, and also rob your house (your address will be on the documents) whilst your sitting sunning yourself on holiday!!!!!

You could try ringing ringing RAC/AA, see and if they could help.

If they can do something to help you can join over the phone (with credit card) and arrange to meet them at your car when you get back.

OK, so the call and membership will cost you, but you'll get into your car . . :undecided

    Here are the sites:
    RAC: http://www.rac.co.uk/
    AA: http://www.theaa.com/

    Good luck :)

I would advise ringing the dealer you bought the car from and asking their advice. I'm sure you're not the 1st person this has happened to!

    Good luck!

I dont think Chumana is being malicious. Chumana has a very good point, if I was the OP I would edit that post quite quickly. I would like to think everyone reading it would be like the majority and think of ways to help, but then reality smacks me in the face, who knows who is reading these threads.

Some pretty good suggestions though, ring the dealer see if they can help failing that ring a cutter local to your area and see if they can help you out.

Go to the nearest Mercedes dealer in Morroco...there'll definately be one. If the company is worth its salt then you might be able to get new keys over there. And, yes, you should ammend your post.
