Done search but nothing came up. Also wasn't sure whether to post this as I don't want to waste anyone's time..then again it is a good prize !

Here we go

If you are an existing Halifax or Bank of Scotland account holder but not registered for online banking this is easy - just register for on-line banking (need to use within 4 weeks of registration)

However reading the T&C I think that anyone can enter for this prize by post (see below T&C no 3) : can anyone double check this for me please ?

Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over. Employees and the immediate families of the promoter, its subsidiaries and other group companies, and anybody professionally connected with the promotion, are excluded from entry.

2. If you are not registered for Halifax or Bank of Scotland online banking but hold a Halifax or Bank of Scotland account that can be managed online, you will be automatically entered into the draw if you register for the online banking service between 1am on 14 May 2007 and 12am (midnight) on 17 June 2007 and then sign in within four weeks from the date of your registration.

3. No purchase necessary. Alternatively, send your name and address to HBOS Marketing, Online Banking Holiday Prize Draw, CL/1/SB/26371, Trinity Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX1 2RG. Entries are to be received before 5pm on 17 June 2007. Only one entry per person.

4. The draw will take place at Head Office on 16 July 2007. Winners will be notified by post within 2 weeks of this date.

5. We accept no responsibility for lost, mislaid, delayed or damaged entries.

6. One winner will be selected at random from the entries received. The winner will receive a holiday voucher worth £1,500.

7. Halifax's plc's decision is final in all matters relating to the draw and we will not enter into any correspondence with you about it.

8. The winners name can be obtained by sending a stamped self addressed envelope to us at HBOS Marketing, Online Banking Holiday Prize Draw, CL/1/SB/26371, Trinity Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX1 2RG.

9. Our instructions for completion of any entry and the advertising text form part of the rules of the draw.

10. The prize will be as stated and no cash or other prize alternative is available, except in the event of circumstances outside of the control of the promoter, where it reserves the right to provide a similar alternative of equal or greater value. The winner cannot transfer the prize to anyone else without the specific written permission of the promoter.

11. Your entry implies your acceptance of the rules as being final and legally binding.

12. We may require you to take part in further publicity resulting from our draw if you win.

To be automatically entered into the prize draw, you will need to register for the online banking service between 14 May 2007 and 17 June 2007.
But then you can just send in post supposedly for an equal chance to win...I'll bet no-one using this method does tho'...maybe it's a legal requirement or something!!

As far as I can see under section 3 anyone (not just one of their customers) can enter by post.
But I think the chances of winning are going to be much lower than most competitions as there will be a very large number of people that will automatically be entered into the draw!
