I had to read that three times to visualise what you meant.
Which is, of course, one of these:
and thats correct but builders merchants use one of these:
and the bags can just be placed on the driveway with a baulk or two of timber on the downhill side to level the bags up for the slope.
Cheers
No, the word drop was confusing. I meant via the tailgate lift. Quite simply a hand pushed pallet truck used in warehouses and within the rear of a wagon to move pallets about.
The poor guy had to manhandle the dam thing of the truck via the tailgate lift, then try to get it up the kerb. With my help we got it 1/2 on my steep drive.
That's what they meant by kerbside delivery:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl:
edited to add I had two bags, both slate, from different suppliers and they both arrived like that. Everything else, and we have had about 15 bulk bags and pallets of stone over the last year, delivered by Hiab, boy do they make the poor chap with the pallet truck work for his moneyI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
