Personally if I am told that I am being made redundant I will jump for joy as this is what I'm hanging on for. Redundancy would more than cover the price of a Masters degree course I fancy doing :T:dance:

That sounds interesting! In that case, fingers x'd for you! ;)

I've done better today thanks to some banana's which were going over the the fruit bowl and starting to stink the flat out, so I made some sarnie's for today. My crisp & chocolate tub that I was really organised with earlier on the challenge is now empty, but I'm going to keep it that way until I've lost this pesky 1/2 stone which refuses to disappear. Our tenants are moving into dad's house next week so I have to finish all the odd jobs that need to be done by then, once they're in that will free up a ton of time and I'll try dedicate that to lunchbox and evening meal preparations (maybe even a spot of exercise!).

hey everyone am back on here after a few weeks away. Loving this thread as always. Last night I made a mushroom risotto for dinner and have some leftover for lunch today - mmm. I also made a tortilla as had some new potatoes which needed cooking and so can have that cold/warm with salad/olives tomorrow. Plus yoghurt and fruit each day and an emergency chocolate biscuit for afternoons! Enjoy your lunch everyone!

feeling a bit like a dunce, couldn't work out why the lunch thread hadn't been updated since april and then realised it was because it was the April thread!

I have made some chicken skewers for lunch tomorrow and will also be taking some celery and cucumber and humous to snack on.

I have lunch provided for me Tuesday, so this week I am hoping for 3 days of taking my own

Last week I took lunch in every day! Some days I had homemade quiche and some leftover pasta.

We had a pie today for lunch so with some leftovers I have a lovely big pasty for my lunch! Good luck everyone x

    Hi Guys :j

Some great successes going on there :T

I had LTW 2 days last week and will only have 2 days again this week so easy peasy :rotfl:Speaking of which - I'd better go and make sandwiches before I forget.

    Great work everyone :T

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hiya. I'm joining this thread.

I've made a huge salad this evening for work tomorrow. I worked out the cost to be about £1.05.

Prepared sweet leaf salad (1/3 of bag from Aldi)
    Piece of cucumber sliced
1 salad tomato sliced (Aldi deal)
Tin of tuna mixed with small amount of mayo - huge serving - lol.

Also taking in my 55p Aldi Porridge pot for breakfast and a small container of grapes for a snack.

There is a water cooler at work so i refill my bottle there.

I've taken in lunch every day for the past two weeks. I'm saving so much money.

I had my first LTW fail today. A friend of mine had a job interview in the village I work so we arranged to meet for lunch when she'd finished. It was a special occasion though and the cafe I took her too was quite cheap, so I'm going to let myself off this time.

However, I had to laugh as I pulled in to work this morning and realised that I'd already prepared and brought LTW having completely forgotten about my lunch date. At least I can't forget tomorrow as it's already in the fridge waiting for me! :rotfl:
