Hi, mine come through to a Hotmail address ok. Strictly speaking it's a Hotmail address forwarded to another Hotmail address and they still arrive.

    Beware!

I just got offered a 30 min survey for 125sb that wanted me to download some software halfway through - I said no and got DQed straight away. Don't do it unless you're willing to download.

I just had one like that myself only it was for 250sb which i thought was great, popup blocker blocked the software installation and it instantly DQ'd me

But yeah as reguards the daily surveys i had non for 3 days myself i just changed my postcode to my better halfs tonight so it seemed to have changed things, although now currently at 2393 i compared some of the offers to TCB and it seems like a kinda raw deal like for example audiable offer 578 SB which is about £2.50 where as TCB gives £4 and similary to some of the other offers, but reguardless im trying

I've been hammering those sites day and night it just seems alot of effort without result for me so far, over 14 hours a day for what looks like a fiver a week if even lol

Hello! I've come back to Swagbucks after a couple of months' absence, due to being utterly, cripplingly broke. (All my own fault - I'm a dreadful impulse buyer.) I'm coming up on an Amazon £5. Should I save for something better value?

With a lot of the offers you have to pay something to get the swagbucks, even on the free offers. Do you guys have any advice for me so that I can find some free offers that are actually free and won't scam me (lol)? Like tell me which ones you do?

Also do you get swagbucks for searching ever two hours or so? Because I've searched intermittently all day (about 5-10 times each time) and I haven't got anything yet. :L

Any other tips for me? :)

I tend to do the offers which just require you to sign up, and then the ones where i just have to register correct details. - these do mean you get a fair bit of spam though so be warned!

I gain most of my SB through surveys and SBTV.

One thing that helped me when i first signed up was filling in my personal details for the survey section, you get 2SB per section. which obviously was very easy and quick to complete.

I only get search and wins every so often, I dont actively use it. just when I remember.

I hardly ever do any offers on the walls that either want you to pay for anything or ask for your credit card details - the only exception to this is if I'm going to use the store in any case eg. the Body Shop. The Shop and Earn offers which are run through Swagbucks are different entirely and I know quite a few people on here have earned sb by using Shop and Earn. However, only use it if you are going to buy something anyway - buying anything just to earn a few swagbucks is false economy.

There are a number of 'free surveys' on the walls which offer prizes (these are not actually surveys). With these you go through page after page of offers and have to click either 'yes' or 'no' for each one. Be careful with these because there are one or two where you have to untick a box otherwise it subscribes you to an offer that will debit your mobile phone account or credit card. These also produce spam email, so the best thing to do is to set up a separate email account just for spam (I use a gmail account which I just clear out every month) and if possible use an old mobile phone with a PAYG sim card.

Be careful with the 'free' downloads of games and software - these are usually wrapped in spyware and adware which can be very difficult to get rid of. Some people use an old computer for these which they can simply reformat every month or so, or use a sandbox program to isolate everything from your main system. One person on Facebook posted the other day that it cost him £35 to clear malware from his computer after downloading something from the offer walls.

There are, of course, some legitimate offers - and it's a good idea to keep a lookout on here for posts about things that credit. By far the easiest way of earning swagbucks is through genuine Surveys - the daily survey, trusted surveys and Peanut Labs surveys are probably the best ones. Register for Trusted Surveys through the Trusted Surveys dasghboard and also CINT surveys (CINT surveys are emailed to you) through your 'my settings' page. Also register for Peanut Labs surveys on their offer wall (click on settings).

Finally, searches are purely random - again it's a good idea to check on here or on Facebook and if people say that they have had a search win, then it's a good time to try searching. Repeatedly searching over and over won't increase the chances of winning. It's often a good idea to try searching just after 8am, then lunch time, late afternoon and the evening and hopefully you'll win something.

Hope that helps you a little :)
