Renting - giving notice

in House buying, renting & selling
My rent is paid on the 28th but I am on holiday that week so cannot move. If I move out midway through the month do I still have to pay the full month or just for the extra 2 weeks.

    that is something you would need to talk to your landlord about , i suspect they will ask you to pay for the full month but then if they can get someone to move in earlier they may not

    What date did your tenancy start, and how long was the fixed term?

    The 28th and it was six months initially but I have been here nearly 4 years and since then it's just been month to month.

    So when are you expecting to move?

    If you were to give notice today, the earliest it can expire is the 27th June 2013.
