2 and 5 (5 yo from another relationship, not living with me).
Married 2 years.
She would have care of child.0 -
So with such a short marriage, why are you messing about with trying to hide assets? And where do you expect your child to live when you turf your wife out onto the streets?0
-
I would have no intention of turfing my wife and child out on the streets. They would live in the family home.0

Gosh, how do you manage to share your life with someone for another 5 years when you clearly despise them so much you are desperate to find ways to insure they get nothing out of the marriage?
I shared my life with my ex for 12 months after feeling I wanted to separate and that was hell, 5 years????0 -
Another thing, I am assuming the child is question is the 2 year old one? What about the 5 year old? He doesn't get anything? That's you opening up yourself to yet another challenge!0

And when would they get this money? And what would happen to your wife once they get their hands on it?
If you want to save your property then you're best off divorcing now when you have a reasonably short marriage because as the years go on her beneficial interest will only grow.0 -
Personally I think you are better of paying the £200 an hour than asking on a forum.
However from my experience you can decide what to do with your own property in your own name, and have it precluded from being part of a divorce settlement.
Take advice from legal experts - it will almost certainly be money well spent.0
