WORST PHONE EVER

Just been sent a lumina 610 from work as my new works phone - what a diabolical excuse for a phone it is.

Cant Bluetooth Android phones or connect to pc for file transfer, cant connect as Mass storage with pc.

You have to install their software to allow connection via usb, so ive spent the best part of the evening trying to get it to connect and guess what the software wont recognise the phone, ive tried deleting the software and reinstalling as it suggests and updating the drivers etc and still no joy. So ballcocks to it ive unistalled everything :mad:

I think if you want to review mobile phones you've chosen the wrong site.

I accept its a "vent" but if everyone started venting about poor quality products this site would soon read like an off shoot of amazon!

I have the Lumia 800 and its a fantastic phone, it connects to my pc easily and updates things like the calendar/contacts instantly whether im inputting on my phone or pc.

My son and I have the Nokia Lumia 610 and to quote him the phone is "awesome!". Lol. Everything works fine with mine. In fact once you set it up you can transfer everything onto your PC automatically. Result! My favorite feature is adding a name to contacts, it pulls up their number, facebook and email address with the touch of a save button!

Thats because Windows 7 doesnt support bluetooth file transfer.

This is a Windows problem not a Nokia problem per-se and they are meant to be doing a fix for this but unsure if they have or not.

The product is the Nokia phone running Windows phone; it doesn't matter whose fault the lack of feature is.

You don't mention whether this device can actually make telephone calls - isn't that what a "PHONE" is for ???

Perhaps your employer gave you this "S***E" phone to make phone calls, not do all the things that you seem to think a telephone should do.....................
