Just wanted to know if anyone on here has bought a house through the auction with a mortgage.

What was your experience and did the bank deliver the goods on time come completion day?.

    Never have.

    But you must have a firm mortgage offer before you bid.

    NOT a mortgage in principle (MIP).

    Not the lenders problem. It's yours. All part of the risk.

    Hence why majority of auction deals are cash based or mortgage offers are already in place.
