    Ask for a benefit assessment - through AgeUK or the Macmillan nurses. They will help them if they can claim anything more.

    It just seems so wrong when people work all their lives and this happens. I know it's the way it is, but my sympathy rating goes sky high! I hope it ends up well for you OP
