I thought you were looking for a stop gap solution to make this job viable not a cost effective solution
  • Mate a 125cc will cost you £10 6 round journeys, even with gunning it about. Blimey get a 50CC and you dont even need a CBT course.

I bought a 2nd hand suzuki for £325 and it was £98 to insure for a year. £10 or £15 yearly tax.

If you cant afford that then dont even think about getting a car.

15 miles is not far to cycle, especially as the warmer weather is coming.

I was also under the impression the OP needed a solution/stop gap until he had been paid a couple of times to then maybefind something more cost effective say.

Maybe ive mis understood the OP.
  • Many of us in the past have had bikes or mopeds for work. When I was 17, I used a Honda 50 to go to work for two years. Before me, my dad went to work on a bike for about 30 years before he bought a scooter and then a car.

Get a moped/scooter for the coming summer months. I may even see you when I'm on my bike riding from a caravan site for a meal at a pub.

A push bike would be cheap and 15 miles is very doable depending on your shifts. It should take less than a hour.

Are you a caravanner poppasmurf, so am I :D

My 'van is so old PayPlan told me not to bother selling it:cool:

The bike idea would work OP, the only loan you would get otherwise would be extortionate or need a guarantor. You are probably more credit worthy than me though and I earn £30K
