I thought you were looking for a stop gap solution to make this job viable not a cost effective solution0

Mate a 125cc will cost you £10 6 round journeys, even with gunning it about. Blimey get a 50CC and you dont even need a CBT course.
I bought a 2nd hand suzuki for £325 and it was £98 to insure for a year. £10 or £15 yearly tax.
If you cant afford that then dont even think about getting a car.0 -
15 miles is not far to cycle, especially as the warmer weather is coming.0

I was also under the impression the OP needed a solution/stop gap until he had been paid a couple of times to then maybefind something more cost effective say.
Maybe ive mis understood the OP.0 -
Many of us in the past have had bikes or mopeds for work. When I was 17, I used a Honda 50 to go to work for two years. Before me, my dad went to work on a bike for about 30 years before he bought a scooter and then a car.
Get a moped/scooter for the coming summer months. I may even see you when I'm on my bike riding from a caravan site for a meal at a pub."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
A push bike would be cheap and 15 miles is very doable depending on your shifts. It should take less than a hour.0

Are you a caravanner poppasmurf, so am I
My 'van is so old PayPlan told me not to bother selling it:cool:
The bike idea would work OP, the only loan you would get otherwise would be extortionate or need a guarantor. You are probably more credit worthy than me though and I earn £30KISA £1675MiniMoohound savings £3685.86 :T Plus £3800 CTF
