do travelodge prices changes alot

last week i was looking for at a travelodge in birmingham for october and it was £60+ a few days later it gone down to £25 though my bf forgot to booking it (or being to stubborn and lazy to) now 4 days later it back up to £53.

do these prices go up and down all the time?

would it be worth watching or have i missed the better price?

Travelodge and Premier Inn very often have discounted rooms. It depends on whats on in the area at the time of booking is it a regularly fully booked place or is it one which usually has spare rooms. I have managed to get some rooms at £19 a night, breakfast is extra or just take your own.

I needed a room at the Covent Garden London Travelodge and should have booked it when it was £419 for 11 nights!! It subsequently went up to over £850!!! Couldn't decide what to do so have waited it out and have just booked it for £580. Didn't want to risk it going back up again! This is for early August, so yes I think they do change but obviously the earlier you book the better the price. Knowing my luck they will now have a summer sale and it will be even lower - still at least I got in where I wanted in the end.
