I'm the least technical person ever, I'm also a Disney nut.
I want to crop a part of the song from the celebrate a dream come true theme to be my ring time. You can't buy or download the song but I have found a video of the parade on YouTube.
Can someone give me an idiots guide on how to get this file, turn it into audio only then crop it to the part I want?
I have an iPhone 5, an iPad and a windows XP NetBook to work with.

For the first part, you'll need an application that can either download YT audio or copy it as it's playing. Audacity(free) does the latter and also allows you to edit, adjust the format, etc.
That'll give you the audio file. Setting it up as a ringtone depends on the phone.0 -
I assume you will then have a "sound" file.
edit the sound file - Wave sound formation - using this software...

It sounds more complicated than it actually is - Give it a go.0 -
Just found this on Wikipedia...
The Share A Dream Come True Parade music can be found on the Magic in the Streets: Parade Memories CD.
Wikipedia page - Click Here
I assume this is the correct music?0 -
Also found the track to download here...
Disney Music
I'm sure this is what you are looking for.
Once you have downloaded the file, rename it and play it.
I have a version of it on my PC so I know it works.
The file size is 22MB0 -
Thank you all. The lady at the magic kingdom said you can't buy that song!0

Use IE, with Real Player's Youtube downloader.
Convert the flash video to audio with Any Video Converter http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/
Then use, as advised, Audacity to edit.0 -
Forget Audacity, a fantastic program but not required for this.
All you need is the music in question and iTunes.
import the music into iTunes then right click on the track and under options look for the start and stop time boxes.
An iPhone ringtone can only be 30 seconds or less so choose the start point and the end point 30 seconds later. Click OK.
Have a look at this for the full explanation.
