regcleaner

Hi Guys please advise.
Ran this reg cleaner and it told me i had 903 errors!! I know that a lot of this is useless information, but what it did tell me was that I have 403 empty reg. items.
Is it possible? Is it a problem?
I am loathe to run software [not because it is expensive to buy!] like this as I do not know what I am doing.
Any suggestions on if its a problem and if it is how to get rid of it?
Thanks for your help.

Exactly who is the company and exact name of the software you are referring to.
You could having made a restore point first use the software as you then can restore the register back to its original (faults and all) if anything goes wrong.
    Give some more details first.

I agree with the above. Also check if the program makes a backup of the registry before cleaning.
If you already have CCleaner for removing temp files etc. you can use it to clean the registry.
In CCleaner go to Issues, Scan for Issues. It makes a back-up before starting. I havent had a problem with it.

it may be one of the "con" registry cleaners that "finds" errors then asks you to pay for it !!

this is a FULLY working 30 day trial

install and run 1-click maintenance a few times until it is clear

It all seems to be working great.
The other regcleaner has disappeared so I take it this one, tune up deleted it or it was not downloaded in the first place.
    Once again thanks Browntao

Dont worry Atro1 that Tuneup Utilites is excellent.

So good I actually brought it and have been using it fora few years now, one of the best around.

Have a browse of its other features apart from the registry clean as they are very good as well.

Pleasantly surprised this software is still running in the background told me it had fixed two errors.
Might even be tempted to buy this when trial is over.
