Sending heavy item

I need to send a box of mineral specimens weighing around 20-25kg. Any suggestions please? The box shouldn't be much bigger than a box of A4 photocopier paper.

I've not sent anything this heavy before, but I need to post the details on the listing today or I lose the free listing.

Cheers,
MBE
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Assuming it doesn't fall under their restricted/prohibited goods I would recommend Interparcel

Much more cost effective than RM IMO. HTH :)

Thanks. I've just checked with them and they say that they will ship it, but can't offer any cover in the event of damages.

I can't really see what they can do to what is essentially a box of rocks, so that might do, cheers.

myhermes will deal with packages upto 15kg - so if you could split it in two boxes that might be an option?

although you would need to check if it's a prohibited item

    With parcel2go it's £7.75 + VAT based on 25kg 30 x 30 x 20

Thanks all. Shouldn't cost me anywhere near as much as I feared then. :)
