I'm not stalking you....honest, went to Efteling a few years back, there are a few cheap hotels in the area, Formule 1, Etap etc. These only really sleep 3 but we used to "sneak" our kids in. Have a look at the Accor website for more details, you could buy one of those inflateable beds for the 4 year old, the 3rd bed is like a bunk bed across the beds below, the 9 y/o would love that, leaving the 2 big ones on the other 2 beds. Next up pricewise, are Ibis and Campenile, these usually have rollaway beds, Daytripper.net will give you an idea of hotel chains in Europe
The theme park was ok, probably not as good as Alton Towers but not far behind, my little lad got lost for a few minutes, so this probably took the shine off our overall experience.
No idea re car hire, the problem is it will be 2 days so thats why it is more expensive, Hertz were cheaper than I thought they would be in Spain so maybe worth a try. Youve got plenty of time yet.
Must go early start for me , well 10 is early for me.0 -
I think I'm stalking you!
Looks like we will be on the same plane as you both ways, early out, evening return.
Can't help with the theme park though, off to a place called Harlingen when we get there,3.5 hours by train each way0 -
We went twice to Eftling and I think for young children it really is a magical experience - if you can afford it I'd recommend staying at the Golden Tulip Hotel which is attached to the park - they have theme rooms - the carousel and circus rooms are fabulous.0

Im going to take a look at the Golden Tulip & See if it's within our budget.
