If you hold a single credit card and repay etc, does the credit limit increase?
Sorry for such a silly question, but i'm new to credit cards.

Generally yes, but this depends on other factors like your income, current state of your credit file etc.0

Theoretically, YES.
However it will depend on a number of factors as to how soon you get one!
A big start will be the company you hold a card with and how any other credit accounts you hold are being run. Companies like Vanquis are likely to increase quicker than Capital One.
There are many other variables but it very likely within 6 months of holding it and paying on time and not going over limit that you will receive a credit limit increase.
Nothing is guaranteed though.I have numerous qualifications in Business and Finance, Accountancy, Health and Safety and am now studying Law.
Don't rely on anything I write as it may be wrong!!!0 -
Well i dont really need it anyway. I've always paid for cash up front and have only just got a credit card for cashback reasons. I'll pay all the balance on a direct debit.
Paying stuff with one card is just easier sometimes. We just bought a new bathroom for £6k, which didn't quite fit on my first credit card of £5.5k with all my cashback purchases.
Its a santander 123.
Were planning on a kitchen in a couple of months and its just easier with a single card.0
