    Just a quick note on this all - although the above note from NPOWER looks lovely and helpful, it's all show, as I've heard nothing after this note...
    Pretty indicative of how they've been during this issue - remember that if you think you might want to use NPOWER.

    I wonder why. Npower are useless, I had my boiler covered with them, same as ,until 2 years ago, when their supposed engineer blasted it off the wall trying to change a £2.50 diaphragm.He was totally incompetent.
    He just walked off, left water running everywhere, over electrics,never isolated the circs, left the front cover down, and water running out of ruined heat exchanger onto circuit board etc. No sticker put on it, and never another engineer came out.No report as to his report as to how he managed to spend 4 hours on a 30 minute job, and knackered a heat exchanger up, in the middle of the coldest winter on record. He even said, I,m lost;;;; Result new boiler @ £2k , there was no sorry, £200 compensation,bye, bye, after 16 years,.
    £200 to replace the heat exchanger he ruined, but NO, "beyond economical" repair, , thanks to engineer.;;;it,s now, with the ombudsman.Use them at your peril.
    NPOWER, don,t ask for details, you are on here only to tout.Like your supposed engineers, you are useless.
    PAUL, you have my sympathy, because you will get none from NPower, just hard luck stories.
