Small claim - evicted tenant

I have recently taken a tenant to court in order to evict them from my property. We won the case and they were evicted, however they owed a large rental bill of around £4000, without the court costs of around £2500. Can I now go through small claims in order to try and recoup some of these monies. Is it true that the govt set a side funds to cover this? Also what would the costs be to me. Thanks

???? you mean to cover your court costs? No. To pay on behalf of your tenants? :rotfl:

Small Claims (up to £10K) Track.
Do your ex tenants have any funds? If not, you may win,but receive nothing.
Do you know where they have gone? You'll need to.0 -

The Courts Service have a pdf on Court Fees - you can of course seek recovery of these further court costs from the errant T but if the T is on a very limited income you may not see your money quickly or at all. The only "satisfaction" you will have is that your former T has a CCJ against their name.0
