I have been having a rearrange evening and I am shocked of how much stuff I still have. I have got:
    220 beauty box/ sample/ full size/ freebies products
10 draws full, a basket full and and over flow box of lush products ( they are smallish draws, 1 will hold 16 bath bombs)
1 draw of other body products from small companies I like
1 big box under the bed of mostly body and hair products
25ish items in a box next to my bed that are in use
Bathroom cabinet and other things on side of bath
About 10 items in the cupboard on the landing mostly hair care.
Make up is not that bad but still won't need to buy anything for a while.
I total the above at between 400-500 items, very scary.

In my head I'm still planning to buy a few products from a little company I like an still have LIB box to come with the free box to arrive. I did put a few items on ebay at the weekend but this won't even break the surface. Oh dear, I am seriously going to have to go on a no spend June and July. I don't know why I choose to buy so much, I still love parcels.

Its a shock isn't it, do you think it will be enough of a shock to stop you buying?

I have a similar amount of items in my stash and they are mainly shower gel and body lotion/butter etc, I have enough for a very, very long time and yet I still add to it and it just makes me feel stressed. I have enough deodorant, shampoo and conditioner to make it through most of the year and then those areas will be under control.

    Hey ladies.

Another UU for me: Elemis Pro Radiance Cleanser. Have more of these in stash so don't need to repurchase but next am going to using the Nspa version that I bought for Emma and she is not using.

My new OPI lacquers arrived yesterday and I love them. Am wearing I Theadora Pink with Lights Over Emerald City on top. Very girly. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Sounds real pretty! I have the I Theadora Pink on my wish list but have not seen it IRL, so not sure if it will work with my paleish skin - I have had to GA so many pink np's in the past:eek:

I have really been able to get to grips with my buying since being around here:j, I still buy nice things, but in a very considered way now. I keep going back to my stashes and reminding myself what lovely things I have to use next and looking out groups of things to use up, sometimes because of the age of them, sometimes because I want to try different products. It helps at this time of year that I want to have my garden looking nice (when the weather lets me be out there) and my buying tends to be new plants etc, so I get the boost from that, also I have been getting compliments from the neighbours on what I have been doing (only been here 18 months, so lots to do still).

Keep plugging away, and if you can, try and identify what it is is life that pushes you towards buying more stuff. Keep plugging away and listing IN's and UU's here:D

Thanks maddie - there are a few things going on in everyday life that contribute towards the buying problem, the main one is working from home on my own - it is convenient but very lonely so having a nice parcel to look forward to helps.

Yes, I remember that feeling, similar with me when I was unable to go and look around shops from time to time because of increasing mobility problems (not that I would have bought half that I looked at IRL), the boost of receiving something new, particularly after moving 150 miles and leaving all my friends behind, was a real bonus. Pleased to say that whilst I still cannot easily go shopping (I live in the sticks too), I seem to have (largely) got it out of my system.

Keep smiling, it is lovely to have the support here, the best gang to belong to:T:T

A couple of OUTs to report and no INs....yet...:j
9 - A pink no. 17 nail varnish that was lumpy and blobby. Nice-ish colour. Used it once again then chucked.
10 - L'Occitane d'angelique cleaning gel - fresh scent but drying even though it said it wasn't. Used up as bath foam.
11 - Lush honey bee bath ballistic. Yummy caramelly honey smell. WBA.
