A GA - S&G gift set of a scrub and (the awful) hand creamLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
UU
Oxygen honey face mask - WNBA was ok but a bit runny and the results didnt wow me.
Mouthwash - from DH overnight bag - WBA but as ive said I just buy whatever is on offer.
60ml TBS satsuma shower gel - WBA I love the smell of this this was used by DD as she likes to use mini versions of what I do.No more buying toiletries0 -

I gave my feet a good slather of my awful foot balm tonight. Hopefully if I can bring myself to touch the stuff one last time, I will finish it off tomorrow.
I have finally UU Schwartzkopf Extra Care Ultimate Repair Shampoo - I'll certainly not be buying that again either. I had the whole kit and kaboodle including conditioner and a substantial tub of treatment mask; among a vast amount of other similar products I bought in desperation at that time to fix up newly highlighted hair. It wasn't man enough for the job and I hated the smell. I still have most of the tub of treatment mask shoved to the back of the cupboard.Mortgage

Thanks for asking, Mr MM is doing OK. It is a 50 mile drive to the hospital for his op and he needs to be there at 0800 on Friday, so off tomorrow and staying the night near to there, hopefully bring him home on Friday, complete with a plate in his forearm!. Need to pack my overnight bag, a chance to use some of my stash of sample sizes:T
I think it will be ages and ages before I can graduate on body moisturisers, haircare is coming down nicely, toothpaste and deodorant almost there and although I have masses of skincare products they are all HG or well liked items, with a smattering of trial sizes of new things to try.
Wow, this must be a very testing time for you indeed. My aunty had a planned knee replacement recently, and that was full of drama - so I can only imagine what it must be like for both of you right now! How did the operation go yesturday & are you now back at home with Mr MM?
XxxWell done Parisian on the body butters, I wish I could say the same.
Today I have tried the Avon Matte Mineral SPF30 face cream. I used it over PCMC (after letting the PCMC absorb for a bit while I dried my hair) and so far so good, it feels nice on but typically it is not in any of the brochures coming up next, they have spf for face but not this matte one - boo.
A couple of weeks ago I started using HE Fresh Balance shampoo and conditioner and love it, the difference between my hair now and when I was using the Percy & Reed stuff is amazing, at the time I didn't think the P & R stuff was too bad but now I realise it was. If anyone suffers with oily hair the HE one is worth a go, it really is very good.
Thank you dolly84!It's actually strange to be running out of stuff and going out to pick things up - I'm so used to having a stash at home to "shop" from!

Hi all, long and tiring day yesterday, but OH fine, a little pain, but no more than expected.
Dog duly collected from dear friend, and as she met me on route we had a coffee and a girly chat at a lovely barn which sold fabric, home furnishings and decorative items, we were both wowed by the beautiful French soaps stocked there, but resisted!!, however I think I may be buying some next times for gifts.
Two UU's both hand creams - an Origins that has lived in my bedside cupboard and 100 gm of something unknown that I transferred into the dispenser I keep next to the handwash in the kitchen. Both replaced from stash and will not need to buy more before end of 2014 at earliest:rotfl:
Stormy with sunny intervals here and have seen my first Swallows today.:jThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
An extremely LHJ ended. UU of Superdr*g body polish, that I bought just after joining the thread. I remember I had £3 of vouchers, a Godsend, as I was hourly paid at the time with little cash. S'drug had a shelf of reductions and this was one of them, I think it was all of 30p.
Anyway, I didn't get on with it in the shower, nowhere near scrubby enough but the tiny plastic beads seemed reluctant to wash off too. So it was relegated to pedicures and with c. 200ml left it took ages to use up.
WIBA isn't an option, as I think it's been withdrawn a long time ago. I wouldn't anyway, it was pretty useless. The method of exfoliation that suits me best is also the cheapest; body-brushing.
If, like me, you have difficulty getting going in the mornings, either physically or mentally, body-brushing is a splendid waker-upper.
As I've been typing this, my Avon order has arrived (on time, delivered by rep's Dad, rep is revising for A-Levels).
So an IN of a Skin So Soft Silky Moisture Dry Oil Body Spray - great for summer if we get one, plus the Fast Hydration moisturising gel and Body Wash in the same range. I have the moisturising gel already, but always use up moisturiser before the matching shower gel.
The gel is a lovely cooling product, so I can't see it being used any time soon with our weather.
I also UU'ed a BS mens' face wash, that has to be around 10 years old, as shower gel. Fed up of DS's products sitting in the storage baskets on the bathroom shelf. I've earmarked the body scrub and face scrub from the same source to do duty as foot scrub.
My jobhunting mate asked me if I had any talc that I wasn't using the other week, I don't use it, but when I saw little drums of it on offer in the last Avon brochure I got one for her as a wee cheer - up treat. She had a knockback this week of not even getting to interview stage of a job she was really hoping for.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
No UU to report but no IN's either so that's good.
Wearing my zangora shorts lying watching tv instead of going to gym lol lazy day me0 -
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend, despite the weather chopping and changing all the time
3 UU for me in the last couple of days
Imperial Leather enchanting white willow & bluebell bath creme - WIBA?
Maybe, it was only £1 and is ok for everyday use mainly by my DD
Herbal Essences It's A Curl Thing Conditioner - WBA/HG
I think HE have stopped making this as I can't find it anymore, it was a purple coloured bottle and noticed that the tousle me softy has been changed to a similar colour now. I have bought that one (in error thinking it was curly one) so will try it and see. I have seen the curl one on Amazon but if anyone sees it in a normal store please please let me know, my curls need it !!
Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Face Wipes - WBA
Don't use face wipes very often, normally to freshen up after work before reapplying make-up if I'm going out. These are non irritating and don't leave my skin feeling 'filmy' like some other brands. Good price too.
I need to buy a new eye cream very soon, any recommendations from you lovely ladies? I need something for fine lines and dark circles. Currently using Benefit it's potent which sometimes stings a little. Don't want to spend more than £25. Have tried several others before but nothing that really wows me. I do have quite a few samples of Olay 3 point super serum, could this be used as eye cream? Serums confuse me0 -
UU
Lush twighlight bath bomb - WBA DD loves all bath bombs
Garnier 2 in 1 eye and make up remover - WBA I like this it does the job, is cheap, doesnt sting or leave that oily residue of some removers.
30ml DHC cleansing oil - WBA love this oil for cleansing.
Ins
2 x 100ml Cutex nail polish remover - bought 2 of the small size as it was cheaper than the large - this was required as I have none left.
4 tubes of unknown serum as part of a product test.No more buying toiletries0 -
IN - optrex eye spray for use on closed eyes. My colleague recommended these, as I've been complaining of pollen giving me really dry tired eyes. I hate drops, but I've been really struggling to focus on my work because my eyes are so tired.
Also purchased some mango butter and almond oil to make toiletries, but I think it'd be easier to record the ins from the made products...0
