Love the sparkly nails Josslette
Welcome Longbowgilly :hello:
I have some UUs to report from my gym bag:
Boots No 7 Quick Thinking Facial Wipes - WBA if on offer, good for a quick fix when in a hurry
Aveda Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion 7ml - this was a GWP, hard to tell what it's really like from such a small sample but too runny for my liking and not so keen on the smell so WNBA
Nivea Calm & Protect (?) APD 250ml - part of a huge stash from Tesco glitch over a year ago, WMBA but not for a while as I like to switch around, I'm sure they're less effective when I don't do this - plus I have plenty more to keep me goingHave replaced with the same for now
Plus a UU I am most excited about off my desk at work:
Sanctuary Hand Cream, 75ml - this is the first hand cream I have ever UUd in my entire life, I've been making a conscious effort to use it every day at work for the past month, and hey presto! I really liked the consistency and scent of this and WMBA (in about five years' tine as I have lots more creams in the stash despite having never bought a single tube) Replaced with S&G Hand Food mini, determined to reduce my hand cream stash now I know it can be done!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
Welcome longbowgilly.
Loving the bling Josslette.
A small UU to report
5ml Clarins extra firming face lotion - although I love Clarins I think I prefer Elemis PCMC.No more buying toiletries0 -
Thanks for the nail compliments
Have one IN to report!
Amor Amor Perfume 50ml - My favourite perfume, my mum received this at Christmas(From Me) and decided she probably wouldn't use it.... Just as well as my 30ml has almost run out!
UU
Avon BB Cream Sample in Natural Beige - This is the first BB cream I've been impressed with. Really liked the coverage for a light coverage product, didn't last all day but would be good for holidays/sunny weather. WBA if on offer, £12 seemed pretty steep for me, maybe it's just me being cheap!
L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil Sample - Quite liked this, wasn't greasy, helped to tame my hair and added some nice shine. WBA.
I've really been enjoying my Avon eyeliner freebie from Marie Claire. Really fantastic for tightlining and definitely comparable to the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners!September Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -

And a couple of INs from the Elemis GWP deal *goes to sit on naughty step*. But could have been worse, I got the facial wipes which were about the same price as my usual Boots ones (which I'm low on anyway) and it means I get a couple of Elemis products I've been wanting to try for a while. See how I've managed to justify it to myself?!
Will count these as INs once delivered, they have been dispatched so hopefully will arrive Tues
Oo, what other Elemis goodies did you get?If you're after cheap OPI polishes, try fragrancedirect.co.uk. They have quite a big selection for only £3.99 each. Bit of a bargainI'm very tempted to buy the full size of 'Kiss Me On My Tulips' I have the mini and really love it!
Thanks for this Josslette. I own a few of the colours on that site. I also have the mini sized Kiss Me On The Tulips.moneyless_mac wrote: »Do not wish to enable but nail polish direct have the oz collection for £7.45 each. Ive never used them myself but it seems quite popular on the nail page I frequent. I was drooling over the glitters but seen some swatches and I think im now only wanting 'which is witch?' The hexes in the 'when monkeys fly' apparently curl and there is lots of fishing required for 'emerald city'.
Wish I had seen this before I ordered from Debenhams as they have a 10% offer just for today. Have gone for the Theadora Pink and Emerald City.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Love love love your nails Josslette.
Hope everyone has been enjoying the lovely weather.
No UU today yet but wanted to ask you lovely ladies what you think about Inglot products? I noticed that they have opened a shop in a city near me when I was shopping at the weekend. Have heard bloggers mention Inglot products before but have never tried them myself. Any views/recommendations?0 -
I have painted my nails in Essie Angora Cardi which I love and toes are in OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest but the sparkle is a bit lost all the way down there.
Angora Cardi is my favourite Essie colour.
One more UU for me today: LE Skin Repair moisturiser. Love this although I now have a jar of Nspa Night Cream to try next.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Hey VALM
It's the GWP that seems to be on at a few places:
• Pro-Radiance Illuminating Beauty Flash Balm 15ml
• Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm 20g
• Soothing Apricot Toner 50ml
• Skin Nourishing Milk Bath 60ml
• Skin Nourishing Shower Cream 100ml
• Cloth (for Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm
None of it needed, but not bad for a £12 (semi-necessary) spendMFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
Hello! I haven't posted since January and *nails bathroom drawers shut* it hasn't been great on the UUs! Actually *sits on makeup bags like an overstuffed suitcase* it may be worse than ever. Thus, I am back in this challenge!
I had a flurry of UU's on the weekend:
Elvive coloured hair shampoo:WNBA because it was a bit boring and made my roots feel quite matted while washing. Not hydrating enough and not anything special for colour keeping. Replaced with Tresemme Thermal Recovery shampoo.
Tresemme Thermal Recovery Intensive:WMBA but I hate that it comes in a pot. I'll probably stick to Aussie when I need a cheap intensive conditioner next. For now I'm using a Matrix one I got at a try me price.
FCUK Signature scrub:WNBA I have scrubby gloves and would much rather use them with a yummy shower gel than stand/sit in grit. WNBA will apply to all scrubs. Replaced with S&G Pulp Friction.
Eucerin Q10 day moisturiser:WNBA I was hoping to a cheaper alternative to my Clarins Daily Energizer, but this balled up under my makeup and made me shiny. I used it up and the pump was fab, but I need makeup-friendly products! Replaced with the Clarins.
Dove shower gel some purple flavour:Using as a handwash. It's too perfumed and lingering for my liking.
My most recent IN was a Garnier exfoliating toner to use after epilating. I need to stay on top of it to stop ingrown hair and manual sloughing can me too irritating. So far it's been refreshing in the heat!
Also got an Avene thermal water spray. It's NOT just tap water I tells ya!
Now to catch up on the past few months. Eek...0 -
Afternoon everyone. Quick UU:
72: TBS Nutriganics Foaming Facial Wash 60ml - WDBA, really like this. Feels gentle on my skin and doesn't irritate my acne.0 -
Small UU of 60ml BS Coconut shower gel. WIBA? Got this as my Easter Bunny freebie along with body milk. It's nice, but the vast majority of BS stuff is very Emperor's New Clothes imo.
Wilko's Coconut is indistinguishable from this. So, er, no, probably.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
