which day is balance calculated?

Options
I have a cashback credit card, which i use only for petrol and pay off in full each month. (well,i've only had it 2 months)
but which day/balance is used for the payment?
my direct debit goes out on the 12th of the month, is it the balance on that day that gets paid, or the balance on the statement day?
hope that makes sense??

Have you ever seen your statements?
They clearly say that the balance is calculated on the statement date and state the date when the payment will be taken and the amount. If you pay the balance in full the DD amount is the statement amount.

    Statement day.

Typically, the statement will have been produced about two and a half to three weeks before the Direct Debit payment is taken.

Your statement should tell you when and for how much the Direct Debit will be.
