Decking

I'm looking to do some decking in my garden its currently concrete. I've had a look at the usual places B&Q, Homebase and Wickes. Just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere a little cheap to get decking?

Also have you done decking yourself? I plan to do it myself just wondering on a difficulty rating how hard would you say it was?

Any help much appreciated

B&Q seem to always have cheap decking boards on a bank holiday weekend. I found decking easy to do but the cutting was a pain so I got a 2nd hand mitre saw from ebay.

I notice that Wickes have a three for two offer on decking boards at the mo.

B&Q do a deal on the 120x2400 decking if you order online to collect the price drops from £5.50 to £3.48.If you have a diamond card or know someone who has then you can get 10% of of that price on a wednesday as well.

Building a raised deck is a lot harder, especially on sloping ground because you have to get all the levels right.

B&Q decking is a cheap as anywhere - just make sure you check each board, as I found a lot of them were damaged.
